Utilities and trash checklist
The city handles trash and sewer. Water and power are usually separate. Use this as a move-in list, not a substitute for your closing packet.

City trash and sewer
Most Casa Grande addresses get trash (sanitation) and sewer from the City. Water is usually a separate company except in a few city-served neighborhoods.
- Start or stop service through Finance at 510 E Florence Boulevard, Building B, or (520) 421-8601.
- New residential accounts need ID plus a deed/settlement statement or a lease.
- The city publishes a $100 refundable deposit and a $25 setup fee before the account is finalized.
- Trash is collected twice a week: Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday, depending on your street.
- Place the cart at the curb before 6:00 AM on pickup day, handle facing the house, lid closed. Do not leave it on the sidewalk.

Water and power
City water applies only to listed neighborhoods such as Santa Rosa Ranch and Saddleback Farms. Most of the city uses a private water provider. Electric service is typically APS. Confirm both on your closing or lease packet instead of guessing the account from this page.
Move-in order
- Electric account.
- Water account for your exact subdivision.
- City trash/sewer application and deposit.
- Internet. A car is still the default here; do not assume rideshare coverage.
